In this post: we feature the best marriage podcasts out there for couples.
I’ve been behind the times. It’s only in the last year or so that I’ve started listening to podcasts, but let me tell you. I’M HOOKED. There are so many incredible podcasts out there covering every topic under the sun. While I definitely make time for my favorite murder podcasts (SSDGM, y’all!), plenty of entrepreneurship and blogging podcasts, and comedy podcasts to keep things light, I find I spend a lot of time listening to relationship and marriage podcasts.
There are dozens of terrific podcasts about marriage out there, with beautiful, vulnerable information being shared. From couples both newlywed and veteran to relationship therapists and marriage counselors, these relationship podcasts offer many different viewpoints and approaches. The ones that are best are those that aren’t afraid to dive into the nitty-gritty of love, to investigate the deep and vulnerable parts of marriages.
We’ve picked out 10 podcasts that do this so well, giving you hours of listening possibilities. Want to improve your relationship? Learn tips for surviving your first year of marriage? Listen to these.

Where Should We Begin?
One of the foremost relationship experts, Esther Perel, talks with couples about intimate, real issues in this unique relationship podcast. Perel, a Belgian therapist and author, leads couples of all kinds through conversation about some of their most intense and pressing obstacles. Addressing topics such as infidelity, sexlessness, anger, and shame, Perel forces us to look at love, sex, and relationships in a new way.
Season 3 is just about to premiere in Spring 2019. So it’s the perfect time to start listening. Check it out on iTunes or wherever you get your podcasts.
For those in search of a Christian marriage podcast, Fierce Marriage is an awesome choice. Since beginning in 2017, husband and wife Ryan and Selena Frederick have created more than 80 episodes covering a wide range of topics. Everything is approached from a Biblical perspective, so this podcast is ideal for Christian couples, but even if you’re not a Christian, you’ll love Ryan and Selena’s candid, open discussions about their own marriage.
They’ve also got a website full of marriage resources and are the authors of several books.

Isn’t girl talk just the best? That’s what is going on in this podcast, with a fun and encouraging approach to complex issues. While this is not strictly a marriage-focused podcast, I love the conversations that podcast host Stephanie May Wilson has with her guests. In the podcast summary, Stephanie describes that in each episode, she invites “a girlfriend over and we talk through one of the biggest questions we have about our lives as women. We’re talking about friendship, faith, relationships, and self-confidence, about our callings in life and how to live our lives to the absolute full.”
This is definitely an inspiring podcast. While it also comes from a Christian perspective, the discussions are raw and honest with applicable truths across all belief systems.

I Do Podcast
Chase and Sarah are a newlywed couple who host this podcast covering all things sex, dating, marriage, and relationships. They know that relationships take serious work, and in each episode, they talk about love with other couples, relationship experts, and therapists. You’re sure to learn a ton on this podcast. Recent episodes have dealt with topics such as prioritizing your own happiness in a relationship or how to know if your partner is ‘the one.’ PS: They challenge the concept of soulmates, which we talk about often.

The Naked Marriage Podcast
Dave and Ashley Willis run The Naked Marriage Podcast, to uncover “the truth about sex, intimacy and lifelong love. ” A naked marriage is one that includes not just physical nakedness but emotional and spiritual nakedness as well. This is the best way to create a deep and lasting connection.
Dave and Ashley approach marriage from a Christian perspective, but they don’t shy away from tough, intimate topics, delivering episodes with a healthy dose of humor and honesty. As parents to four, the Willises also frequently discuss parenting topics on the podcast. One of their latest episodes is entitled “Sex After Having Kids.”
You’ll find The Naked Marriage on iTunes and on other podcast players.
Marriage and Martinis
Marriage and Martinis talks about all things to do with the couples lifestyle. Not only do Adam and Danielle discuss traditional relationship issues with absolute candor, they discuss things like health and fitness, sibling birth order, and body image.
A funny and extremely relatable “suburban couple” Adam and Danielle bring a lightness and silliness to even the most challenging of topics.
This relationship podcast just appeared last summer, but they’ve already amassed quite a devoted following.
Marriage and Martinis is available on iTunes as well as on your favorite podcast app.
Therapist Uncensored Podcast
If psychology gets you jazzed, you might like the Therapist Uncensored Podcast. This is not focused strictly on romantic relationships but on the mechanics of relationships and attachment as a whole. Two Austin, Texas-based therapists Dr. Ann Kelley and Sue Marriott are the hosts and have straightforward, interesting conversations. They frequently add another expert into the mix, allowing listeners to learn so much about topics such as setting boundaries, trauma, neurological safety, and much more. These topics go deep.

Anatomy of Marriage
Seth and Melanie Studley, a married couple and parents to 3, bring a new vibe to the typical marriage counseling podcast. The show deals with the messy realities of marriage, and though the couple approaches these topics from a Christian perspective, their advice is practical and applicable. You’ll learn how to take action in your marriage or relationship for the better.
Discussing their own stories (such as their nearly-failed marriage), the Studley’s also interact with relationship experts so you’re receiving a brought range of wisdom in every episode.
