HOW TO MEND A BROKEN HEART – TOP TIPS FOR GETTING OVER A BREAKUP

If you’re dealing with a broken heart right now, I wish I could reach out and hug you and let you know it will be alright…eventually.

As you begin the healing process, here are a few things I did during my own breakup that ended up being rejuvenating and incredibly helpful. Give them a gentle try.

SURROUND YOURSELF WITH LOVED ONES

Spend time with those you love. They will take your mind off the breakup, listen to you analyze it for the 100th time, and simply keep you company.

You have to let yourself grieve. Cry, scream, hit your pillow, whatever it takes. Find ways to healthily express your anger and your sadness.

A wonderful way to start mending your broken heart is to let the wave of emotions ride through you…for as long as it takes.

As the pain begins to recede slightly, you’ll find you feel happy now and again. Welcome that feeling when it comes. Don’t question it or push it away.
